Tour de Jotunheimen

A premium e-bike tour packed with natural and cultural experiences through the beautiful Sjodalen valley in Jotunheimen. Includes detours to unmarked, lesser-known gems representing cultural heritage and nature of national conservation value. Nature reserves, primeval forest, waterfalls, mountain farms, red-listed species, tranquil forest tarns and animal dens, all with magnificent views of Jotunheimen's towering mountains.

The tour takes place at an altitude between 800 and 950 metres above sea level. Route varies between asphalt, gravel roads and trails. The distance ranges from 60 to 85 km, depending on the weather and choice of detours. There will be plenty of stops along the way to take in as much of the valley's attractions as possible.

Bikes: On this tour, you can hire a top-quality electric mountain bike through our partner Bike & Hike Jotunheimen. You may also bring your own e-bike. We meet at Lemonsjøen Mountain Lodge.

Bring: clothing that suits the weather and temperature. Shoes that are comfortable for both cycling and short hikes. A small backpack for food and drinks, extra clothes and possibly rainwear. Remember that the weather can change quickly in the mountains.
